Threat Call to Blow up Mumbai Airport Turns Out to be Hoax; Case Registered
A case has been registered at Sahar police station and the investigation to trace the caller is underway

A call was received by the Mumbai International Airport on Saturday evening, in which an unknown person threatened to blow up the airport.

The caller said there was a bomb inside a bag at the airport.

Officials at the airport soon informed the police about it following which a bomb squad team was sent to the airport, but nothing suspicious was found. Sources said it was likely to be a hoax call.

A case has been registered at Sahar police station and the investigation to trace the caller is underway.
