HDFC Asset Management Company (HDFC AMC) on Thursday reported a 20 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth in its net profit to Rs 436.5 crore for the September 2023 quarter. Its revenue during July-September 2023 jumped 18.1 per cent to Rs 643.1 crore, compared with Rs 544.7 crore a year ago.
HDFC AMC had posted a net profit of Rs 363.8 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Its operating profit stood at Rs 467 crore during the second quarter of FY24, against Rs 388.9 crore a year ago.
“QAAUM in actively managed equity-oriented funds i.e. equity oriented QAAUM excluding index funds stood at Rs 2,861 billion for the quarter ended September 30, 2023, with a market share of 12.4 per cent. The AMC is amongst the largest actively managed equity-oriented mutual fund managers in the country,” HDFC AMC said in its presentation.
