Says a report in SamMobile: Galaxy A series (2016) will get the Android Nougat update soon but there is no word on when the roll-out would start for the devices. It is expected that the firmware update will be rolled out in the second quarter of 2017.
Meanwhile, Samsung has seeded the Android Nougat beta build to Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge and the test will conclude by mid-December.
This means that the Samsung Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7, Galaxy A8, Galaxy A9 and Galaxy A9 Pro should be able to expect the update in near future.
