A woman took to X to share a dating profile she came across on Tinder and it has sparked chatter on social media. You may ask why? Well, the Tinder user didn’t highlighted their personality or interests in the dating app’s bio, instead filled it with academic achievements. Expectedly, the unusual Tinder bio caught the attention of social media users who poked fun at the individual. While many said that the person confused the dating app with LinkedIn, others added that the person forgot to mention their package at Infosys. Others expressed that the person’s personality revolves around academics.

“These IIT nerds should be banned from using dating sites. LinkedIn nahi Tinder hai yeh,” wrote the woman while sharing a screenshot of a profile she came across on the dating app.
As per the screenshot, the Tinder user who is looking for a long-term partner shared academic achievements in the “About me” section of the app. The individual has detailed their academic accomplishments, including Class 10 and 12 percentages, JEE Mains and Advanced ranks, NTSE and KVPY scholarships, and a B.Tech in CSE from IIT Bombay. They have also included their current employment at Infosys and their height.

This, however, is not the first time that a person’s unusual bio on a dating app went viral. Earlier this year, a woman’s Bumble bio landed her a job reference at JP Morgan. On the app, the woman in the app’s “We’ll get along if…” section wrote, “You know anyone who could get me into Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan.”
