Shared on the micro-blogging site ‘X,’ a user named Ayush recounted his discovery of Console Fixit in Bengaluru. According to him, Console Fixit is a family-run empire with over seven centers spread across South India. His post’s caption read, “Went to get my PS5 repaired in BLR, landed into a family-run empire called consolefixit with more than 7 centers in South India. They train their family members and run these shops 24×7. India surprises every day.”

The post quickly went viral, prompting responses from the public. Individuals familiar with Console Fixit shared their experiences as well. One user mentioned, “We accidentally met the owner of ConsoleFixit, running profitably, fully owned by the family. And the owner was playing God of War when we entered.” Another added, “Literally just went to consolefixit today to repair a broken button on my PSP 1001, will get it tomorrow.”

A third individual humourously remarked, “Grandma is probably cooking and soldering a PCB at the same time.” A fourth commented, “India is full of such mini empires just waiting to be discovered. There is a guy in a rural area outside Kolkata; him and his team work in lungi ganjee and repair LED TV panels. Apparently very few people know how to repair an LED TV panel.”
