New Delhi: India has not entered into any missile arrangement with the US, Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee said in Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.
"There is no question of having any missile defence arrangement with the US as far as the framework is concerned", Mukherjee added.
"Framework is not an agreement", he said adding arrangements should not be construed as agreements.
Nor had India signed the US led Proliferation Security Initiative to curb the spread of WMD, clarified Mukhrejee.
He said that depending on the level of bilateral relations, India enters into defence agreements with various countries, which include China, Russia, the UK and France. India has signed 44 defence cooperation MoUs with a number of countries including the US, Mukherjee added.
